Several of their RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System – Drone) pilots are former pilots and aircraft mechanics, both civil and military aviation, and several possess operational pilot’s license on fixed wing.

Their pilots undergo an extensive training programme before certification as RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System – Drone) AeroView Pilot.

The company is also Achilles authorized and qualified for offshore operations.

Furthermore, AeroView member of the interest group UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) Norway.

AeroView have very kindly donated a lot of Quadcopter Drone equipment, that will prove extremely useful to us on ICE2017.

Gunnar will make great use of all these spare parts and we hope to potentially build our second (back-up) Expedition Quadcopter utilizing these sponsorship donations.

We will be decorating our Expedition Vehicles with sponsor company logos in the near future, once we have completed all our mechanical fixes & upgrades on both cars, and received all the logo stickers requested.

We would once again really like to say a very big Thank You to AeroView (and especially Ørjan Nyberg Ladsten (Sales & Marketing) and Jan-Robert Lingjærde (Technical Safety & Maintenance) for all their positive Sponsorship and Support.

Its really great to have another local Stavanger-based Company supporting us in this very positive way.

We have added AeroView to our Acknowledgements Page.
